What is Ascot

Ascot is an antioxidant that used to prevent and treat scurvy, a disease caused by vitamin C deficiency in the body. Ascot plays an important role in our body, because it is vital to maintain the health of skin, cartilage, teeth, bone and blood vessels. It is also used to protect your body's cells from damage.


Side effects of Ascot

Ascot may cause such side effects as:

  • diarrhea
  • upset stomach


Indication

Ascot is used to prevent or treat vitamin C deficiency in people who do not get enough of this vitamin from their diets. In most cases, people who eat a normal diet do not need extra ascot. People have low levels of vitamin C due to scurvy. Scurvy can cause such symptoms as rash, muscle weakness, joint pain, tiredness or tooth loss.


Precautions

You should not take ascot if you

  • have an allergic reaction to ascot or any other medicines
  • are taking other prescription and non-prescription medicines, including other vitamins
  • have ever had kidney stones. It is very important for people with diabetes to talk to their doctor for the correct way to test their urine while taking large amounts of ascot.
  • are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breastfeeding
