What is Bionect

Bionect is a medicine that is effective for treating skin ulcers such as bed sores or diabetic foot ulcers, burn wounds, surgical incisions, cuts, abrasions and other skin irritations. It is a lubricant on the skin by restoring moisture and preventing friction or abrasion.

Bionect topical is used to treat dry or scaly skin.

Bionect oral gel is used to cure mouth sores or other irritation caused by infection, chemotherapy or radiation treatments or dental work.


Side effects of Bionect

You should stop using Bionect and visit your doctor immediately if you have any of these symptoms of an allergic reaction:

  • hives;
  • difficulty breathing;
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat.

Precautions

Before taking Bionect you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are allergic to sodium hyaluronate you should not take it.


Dosage forms

You should use Bionect topical 2 or 3 times per day. Bionect oral gel is used 3 times per day.
