Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is a vitamin or vitamin-like substance that is naturally produced by the human body. Coenzyme Q10 helps to convert food into energy. The medicine contributes to energy production in cells, prevents blood clot formation. It has a vital role in the electron transport chain. It is sold as a nutritional supplement.

You should consult your doctor concerning the needed dose. Usually it is recommended to be taken by 30 to 90 mg per day in divided doses, but the amount can increase to 200 mg per day if necessary.
