Now the fans of a sunbath will not have to worry about regular application of a sunblock cream or spray after each bathing in the sea or swimming pool, because the new medium will be effective for several weeks.
British experts have created a unique sunscreener, which is a pill used once for several weeks.
According to the creators, the pill made on the basis of sea corals can reliably protect from exposure to harmful ultraviolet radiation not only cutaneous covering, but also conjunctiva. So far, the only disadvantage of the new medium is that its use completely eliminates the possibility of obtaining the sun tan, but experts promise to solve this problem.
In about five years the new medium will be tested on humans.
