Beer, wine and coffee may lower your Diabetes Risk

07.12.11

Beverages such as beer, wine and coffee can minimize your chances of developing Type 2 Diabetes. Cheers to that!

Of course this does not suggest you to have a toast as a "Get Drunk for Diabetes" in the party, but drinking couple of glasses time to time could lower your risk for Type 2 Diabetes. The recent study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology has shown a communication between moderate consumption of alcohol and lower diabetes risk. Cheers to that!

Arrange a party

Drinking tea can help to struggle with diabetes. Chinese researchers have found that polysaccharides, a type of carbohydrate found in tea, help to operate blood glucose levels. Added bonus: The study also has showed that polysaccharides help wrangle free radicals that contribute to cancer and arthritis. Choose black tea; it's best at glucose management.
