Diets help for short time

Scientists have come to an unfavourable conclusion: diets help for short time. The overwhelming majority of the people, who are keeping to a diet, anyway will gain weight afterwards. Durable research with the participation of 25 thousand of women and men, which was conducted by a group of scientists of the state Medical Research council of the USA, has shown that people of the middle age start to gain weight, and the current tendency is only worsen in the course of time.
Annually 12 million of persons try to keep to diets. Only 10 % of these people succeed in loosing significant amount of kilos. Meanwhile, within a year people even of this group will gain weight again.
Scientists watched 5.362 men and women who were born in 1946, and 20.000 persons (the majority of them were born in 1958).
As explained by Rebekka Hard from Medical Research council, people from both groups have started to gain weight in the eighties. And since that moment their weight only was increasing.
"Men gain weight without leap all through their life. Women gain weight slowly at first, but somewhere at the age of 35 they reaches the highest indicators. As soon as the person has the excess weight, it is impossible to get rid of it. The person only grows stout, despite the attempts to get rid of kgs", - as Hard has commented on.
