Scientists have explained why drinks containing caffeine reduce probability of conception of the child

08.09.11

It is considered that the use of several cups of coffee in day safely for trying to become pregnant. But the latest work of the American scientists calls it into question and explains why caffeine influences probability of conception of the child.

The previous research of 9 000 Dutch women has shown that the use more than 4 cups of coffee in day reduces on 25 % probability of pregnancy. Thus mechanisms of such influence of coffee weren't clear.

Experts from Medicine School at University of Nevada made the experiments on mice and assert that these conclusions also are for women. Experiences show that caffeine reduces muscular activity in uterine pipes on which ovule is transported from spay in a uterus.

As work showed caffeine breaks work of special cages of pacemakers which settle down in walls of uterine pipes. These cages are responsible for muscular activity of walls of pipes; therefore at their suppression ovule isn't capable to move ahead on them downwards.

Results of research offer an unexpected explanation of why often using coffee women happens difficult to become pregnant.
