Scientists have invented heart of new generation
Many years Texas doctors Bill Cohn and Bud Frazier are working hard over creation of artificial heart of new generation. The main difference of it is not pulsing pump. Scientists suggest not simulating the present heart with its difficult chambers and valves, and establishing to the patient the tiny turbine which will provide a smooth and uniform current of blood on an organism. Generally such implants already exist, but use only as the auxiliary mechanism supporting heart work. The experiences spent on animals, have proved that the similar scheme can work. On March, 10th, 2011 Bill Cohn and Bud Frazier have performed the first operation on the person - a 55 year old man who’s heart had 12 Hours left to live due to amyloidosis, it causes a severe buildup of abnormal proteins and eventually they clog organs so much that they just stop working.
Due to received data physicians can assert that the human body is capable to function normally at uniform, instead of a pulsing current of blood. Scientists assert that in cardio prosthetics technology start to develop in excellent way.
