Spices will help to lower fat content of meal

If your favourite nutrition is rich in such spices, as turmeric, paprika or cinnamon, by that your organism will receive the maximum protection against the physical damage caused by fat dishes. The American researchers believe so, who have discovered the big amount of antioxidants in these spices, which reduce the risk of heart troubles because of fat nutrition.

When we eat, our bodies use calories from carbohydrates to get the energy. The rest of calories our body processes in triglycerides which mass in fatty cells as a reserve (in the case of urgent need of energy).

"Usually, when you eat fat nutrition, afterwards there remain a great number of triglycerides in your organism; - as the author of the research Sheila Vest comments. - If it occurs too often or if the level of triglycerides raises too strongly, thus at the same time the danger of appearing of heart troubles grows. We have found out that adding of spices to fat nutrition reduces the development of triglycerides approximately by 30 % (in case of comparing them with the dishes without seasonings)".

Professor Vest and her colleagues were cooking dishes for two days for a group of six men at the age from 30 till 65 years who suffered from excess weight, but in other respects they were healthy. Researchers have added two table spoons of spices to each dish, and then gave men just the same food, but without addition of spices.

Within three hours after each eating the blood of the participants was taken for the analysis of the research every 30 minutes. During the experiment scientists used such spices, as rosemary, origanum, cinnamon, turmeric, black pepper, garlick powder and a paprika.
