Researchers created less toxic cigarette

Researchers from Cornell University found out how to make cigarette less toxic. In their opinion, it is the best way for people who try to get rid of smoking every year.
They used natural antioxidant extracts in cigarette filters such as lycopene and grape seed extract that drastically decreased the amount of cancer-causing free radicals passing through the filter.
This unusual technique can help to decrease the hazardous effects of tobacco smoke, because free radicals are a major group of carcinogens.
The researchers have already tried to make safer cigarettes in the past, but this attempt has been failed.
In fact, this research can help in the creation of an alternative type of cigarette filter with a free radical scavenging additive that is less harmful.
