100-year people are healthier than young pensioners

11.01.12

Researchers at the International Longevity Centre (ILC-UK) determined that people at the age of 100 are physically healthier than younger pensioners.

They made a research on the quality of life of centenarians in the UK. It shows that centenarians often have better health than older people without many of the conditions linked to old age.

The researchers warn that the centenarian population will grow (500000 within next few years) and this growth will place greater demand on health and social care services in the future.

The scientists also stated that many centenarians lead healthier lifestyles as children do.

The scientists have supposed that 1/4th of children born today will reach 100 and the number of centenarians in the next 30 years will increase 12 times.

IN MY OPINION, IT IS A WRONG ANALYSIS, BECAUSE LIFE and DEATH IS IN THE HANDS OF ALLAH or GOD ALMIGHTY . ONE HAS TO THINK OF THE HEREAFTER.
