Your desire for affection will increase if your partner falls asleep after sex

A new study reveals that a person’s desire to be together increases after sex if their partner falls asleep before them.

The study made by a group of evolutionary psychologists at the University of Michigan and Albright College in Pennsylvania. They studied over 456 participants and asked them to fill up anonymous online surveys which asked questions regarding their experiences and desires with one's partner after sex.

The study showed that those people whose partners slept at once after sex expressed greater desire for affection.

Daniel Kruger, the lead researcher, stated that the more one's partner was likely to fall asleep after sex, the stronger the desire for bonding.

The researchers also attempted to identify which sex was more likely to sleep first, but found that there is no difference. However, men stayed awake for longer periods when sex had not taken place.
