Most teenagers have no idea that unprotected sex leads to pregnancy
A new study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revealed that more than a third of teenage mothers who had unprotected sex admitted that they had no idea they could get pregnant.
The researchers found out that more than 5,000 teenage girls in 19 states had given birth due to unplanned pregnancies between 2004 and 2008. Over half of the girls did not use any protection during sex. The teen moms believed they could not get pregnant the first time they had sex.
The researchers also found that over a quarter of teen moms admitted that they had not use any protection, because their partner did not want to use it. Over 13% said that they had trouble getting any contraception.
The researchers made a conclusion:
“Rates of contraceptive use among sexually active teens might be improved by providing appropriate access to contraception, encouraging consistent use of more effective contraceptives, promoting condom use for protection against sexually transmitted infections including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and increasing teens' motivation to use contraception consistently.”

if girls arent even old enough and mature enough to know that sex leads to pregnancy then they shouldnt be having sex at all. allthough most girls today know what their doing and the cinsiquences, there just too young to care.
If the school's wouldn't try to lie like teens are really going to ignore their hormones and "say no", educate these KIDS properly, and be realistic; I believe a LOT of problems would be solved!
ihave sex with my partner on thired day of my period but for only for two minutes with out any birth control pill ,wud be i pragnent.
